Our little group of friends who go Trick or Treating every year together.
Our other group of friends we go trick or treating with every year.Needless to say, the kids got tons of candy and had a blast. This was Noelle's first year to depart from her "Princess" theme in 4 years. It was a hard sell however. Logan really loved his monkey costume and was actually happy to wear it most of the evening. He really enjoyed trick or treating and was constantly digging into his bucket and coming out with suckers which he unwrapped himself and stuck in his mouth. Wyatt's superhero costume must have really given him super energy because he bounced off the walls all night playing and wrestling with his other superhero friends.
We let the kids pick 10 pieces of candy each and they were allowed to eat them whenever they want. Logan ate almost all of his today and maybe one of Wyatt's . Wyatt fell asleep after church and then went to Awana so he didn't get a chance to eat any. Noelle decided to eat 2 pieces a day and I took the opportunity to ask her to figure out how many days she would be able to eat candy and we had a little math lesson. (Maybe I could homeschool?!?....nah..) It was really fun to see her figure it out. And then she wanted to do more math problems and was writing them all down in her little "math notebook".
She is getting so big...sigh.
