My sister was home for the weekend and wanted to enjoy some Pacific NW scenery so we went for a hike on Mt Hood. It was right next to a river and it was a great day for a hike. Ben and the older kids were in Seattle at a baseball game so we enjoyed our hike minus a couple of chatterboxes.
Logan enjoyed throwing rocks in the river and walking through the forest.
I haven't hiked in a few years so it was a bit of a strain at first especially with and extra 30 lbs on my back. But it was fun and I hope we are able to hike more next summer.
